Wrist Rattle My Little World by Haba
Would NOT buy again written about 1 month ago
Just received this wrist rattle two days ago and I was very excited to give it to my son. At four-and-a-half months, he is just at the age where he is learning to grasp things but hasn’t quite mastered the skill. This toy seemed like the perfect solution for offering him something that he wouldn’t keep dropping given that it fastens onto his wrist. Wrong. Although the wrist band is made with stretchy elastic, it still fits him so snuggly that he had red imprints on his arm from the band for 20 minutes after I took it off of him. And he is not a fat baby- he is in the 50th percentile for weight. This product would be a lot better if it were more comfortably and generously proportioned. Also, two of the pages in the “book” part of the toy offer the same activity- if I were designing it, I would have done something different so that there was another type of stimuli for the baby. This product is based on a great concept, but it did not play out well in reality. I would not recommend this toy.
Sophie the Giraffe by Vulli

I was a bit hesitant to spend so much money on one toy but, after reading all of the positive reviews and coming to believe that I had finally hit upon a teething toy made out of something other than wood or cloth that I could feel good about giving my son, I decided to spring for Sophie. Boy, am I glad I did! My son took to her instantly thanks to her great design that makes so much of her easy and comfortable for him to grab and chew on. I love that she is made of natural rubber and is coated with food-grade paint. Until she arrived, I did not know how perfect Sophie would be- her legs are just the right size for aching gums to gnaw on and her long neck makes it easy for my son to get a hold of her. Plus, she is so cute! I definitely would buy Sophie again.

Although I was a little wary to spend so much $$$ for a single toy, I am so glad that I did! This stroller toy has proven to be a great investment as it entertains my son and keeps him happy on walks. He will go back and forth from looking at the outdoors to playing with this toy. I like the way the bears move and that the rings on it slide. Plus, it is cute, colorful, and painted with non-toxic paint. Also, I am pleased to report that the Groooowl! pram decoration has grown with my son changing positions in his stroller. The toy is easy to tie onto different parts of your stroller. I definitely would buy this again and recommend it strongly.
