My baby boy wasn’t interested in Sophie the first few times I gave her to him. Now he loves her! He’s not quite teething yet, but loves to chew, chew, chew. It’s great that the legs fit in his mouth easily but are not too long so that they go down his throat and gag him (unlike his fingers!).

My son was really trying to gnaw on my fingers so I got Sophie because I figured the legs could be put into the back of his mouth and sure enough that’s exactly what he likes to do with it. Great to have a teether that can reach far back like that! He also likes to chew on her ears and nubs on the head. All around nice teether and he likes to squeeze her for the sound.

it may seem silly to pay so much for such a simple, little toy, but bigger and more elaborate aren’t always better. this giraffe is well worth the cost. it is a favorite of my 7 month old boy. the squeaking noise isn’t constant or obnoxious. i would definitely buy this toy again, and i would definitely buy it as a gift for someone with a new baby.

I was a bit hesitant to spend so much money on one toy but, after reading all of the positive reviews and coming to believe that I had finally hit upon a teething toy made out of something other than wood or cloth that I could feel good about giving my son, I decided to spring for Sophie. Boy, am I glad I did! My son took to her instantly thanks to her great design that makes so much of her easy and comfortable for him to grab and chew on. I love that she is made of natural rubber and is coated with food-grade paint. Until she arrived, I did not know how perfect Sophie would be- her legs are just the right size for aching gums to gnaw on and her long neck makes it easy for my son to get a hold of her. Plus, she is so cute! I definitely would buy Sophie again.

My daughter loves her! We will soon have an all white giraffe because she gets chewed on so much but I don’t worry about it because the “paint” is natural. I would recommend Sophie to any one with a babe.

Sophie has been a great addition to my sons toys!! She has been great with his teething, he loves to chew on her feet. She goes everywhere with us, it is easy for him to hold and move from hand to hand. Added bonus is it is safe!! We love Sophie!!! She has been the subject of conversation in many stores, and we have recommended her to everyone that will listen!! :)

I would recommend Sofie the Giraffe to all new parents. I bought it for my son when he was 3 months old and he loves it. We carry it everywhere. It really helps with his teething process.

This is a fantastic teether! It is one of our daughter’s favorites. It’s a little expensive but so worth the money because unlike the wooden teethers, you don’t risk it cracking or splintering. It must feel great in their little mouths because our daughter gums it like crazy. I recently took Sophie into the grocery store with us (big mistake) and our daughter dropped it. I scanned the entire store for about a 1/2 hour looking for it and luckily one of the grocery staff had put it in his locker but was honest enough to turn in over.—-Big smile on my daughters face! YAY!

My son LOVES Sophie and he carries her everywhere. She is made with safe plastics and you can trust that your child isn’t ingesting phlatates, PVC, chlorine, lead, arsenic or any of the other junk that is in many other products. She makes a great teether!

My baby loves Sophie! I love that I don’t feel worried about quality when I hand her over. Fun to play with and gnaw on. Most toys are tricky for a 3 month old to keep a handle on, but Sophie seems to stay put with no problem. Each part of her body presents a new way to chew on her. The feet and head will be great for teething pain. A must have for the put-everything-in-the-mouth set. Buy one already!
